Small fry with Hairy feet.

Last week when we climbed the 726 steps of East Cape Island I thought there was no bigger agony. I WAS WRONG. Today I climbed over 1000 steps as part of 1/4 of the way up the summit of Mount Doom. However I did become Frodo for the day ( Em= legolas and the others assorted characters) And I was pleasantly surprised that I actually managed to stumble up and back down again and actually enjoyed 7 and half hours of the 8 ( the missing 30 mins was the devils staircase- called devils as it makes you turn incredibly red) Amazing views! Good days. No energy whats so ever though . I think I'm going to sleep well tonight!! ( we did have to get up at 5 am!) I was going to tell you more about our travelling farno but they are now peering over my shoulder so maybe not!! Christmas dinner is offically planned, but still very jealous of white christmas back home. I absolutely bloddy new that would happen! oh well here's to a white hot christmas here!!
